Liverpool will travel to Wales to take on Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium, in the much anticipated Monday Premier League clash.
After the Reds 4-3 win at Anfield against The Cityzens, ending Pep Guardiola’s, Man City league unbeaten record, Liverpool will be looking for their fifth successive win in a row, the best run of form under manager, Jurgen Klopp.
With the Reds in a good way, Klopp’s side must stay focused and build on the win over City. In the past, Liverpool usually plays well against the top teams but have struggled with teams at the bottom in the past. Today’s clash against Swansea who are rooted at the bottom of the league table would seem a straightforward win, but there are no easy games in the Premier League, as long as Liverpool play their own game and keep their concentration most likely they should come away with all three points.
Confidence in the squad will be high, defensively The Reds look more solid at the back which is great, but more importantly, they have started doing what top teams do which is to grind out results and win ugly.
A win today will see The Reds go joint 3rd with Chelsea in the battle for the top four place. Swansea with just 17 points in 23 league games have only had one defeat under current manager Carlos Carvalhal.
