Star Man Philippe Coutinho Wins Four End Of Season Awards

The end of season award ceremony was held on Thursday evening, and Liverpool’s midfielder Philippe Coutinho won four awards.

Liverpool’s Number 10 was voted the club’s, Best Player Of The Year, Goal Of The Season, Best Performance Of The Season, Players’ Player Of The Season.

Coutinho who was bought for a bargain €8.5m from Italian side Inter Milan, is now seen as one of the first names on the Liverpool team. A clever player who know how to find space to open up defences.

Coutinho’s goal against Manchester United in the Europa League was voted the goal of the season. The 23-year-old Brazilian magician has scored 12 goals in all competitions and contributed with 6 assists.

For being awarded player of the year Coutinho said, “Thank you to all the fans” 

For the goal he said, “It was a good one for me, but the most important thing is we beat them!”

For being voted Players’ player of the season he went on to say, “This means a lot to me, because it comes from my team-mates”

“Now next week we have a big final, let’s do it together and show how strong we are.”
