The Italian international who joined Liverpool from The Red and Blacks in the summer of 2014, but failed miserably to settle at the Anfield club after just one season, was loaned back to Milan. Now Balotelli’s is quite insistent that he does not want to move back to the Merseyside club.
“I want to stay at Milan,” the 25-year-old told Mediaset Premium.
“I do not want to return to Liverpool. I was never happy at Liverpool.”
“Plus Milan have the money.”
The striker who on his day can be world class has had a difficult season due to injuries but he believes he is beginning to see some progress in his fitness.
“I am finally starting to feel better again,” he said.
“I have been in fine shape physically for two or three weeks and my performances on the pitch have been proof of it.”
Balotelli, who still has a contract with Liverpool until the end of the 2017-18 season, will hope that a deal could be done between the clubs.
