Lucas Alario the 23 year-old River Plate forward who has been scouted by Liverpool is hoping for a move to the Merseyside giants.
The striker who has played Twelve games and scored six goals in all competitions, and is regarded as a good finisher and a good header of the ball.
Reports in the media claimed that Liverpool sent scouts to watch the energetic forward on numerous occasions. News emanating from his home land claimed that Liverpool had tabled an initial £5.6m bid, but that River Plate were looking at £8.5m for a deal to be done.
Speaking to Marca Alario said, “Yes, I have a shirt from them,”
“I do career mode with that team [on the PlayStation].
“I really like the colour red, I admit.”
With claims that Liverpool had made a bid for him the player, told told Argentine TV channel TyC Sports, “Tell them to contact me,”
“Given the choice, I’d like to experience the Premier League, and I’d like to play for Liverpool.”
