According to reports emanating from Germany, Andre Schurrle is said to be a transfer target for the Reds.
The ex-Chelsea player who returned to the Bundesliga in 2014 and now plays for Wolfsburg has played 36 games and has hit the back of the net nine times and contributed with three assists this season.
The German midfielder who was never given the chance to prove himself at Chelsea, admitted that his future needs to be sorted out.
Speaking to Sky not long ago Schurrle said “Right now this is not a topic for me to discuss as we have important games to go,”
“But after that we have to talk about the future – it’s clear that there might be some changes.”
There is no doubt Schurrle is a quality player who can play anywhere across the midfield, and can also be deployed as a forward. The sort of player Jurgen Klopp likes, and also has the experience of playing in the Premier league.
