Goals from Joe Allen and Brazilian Roberto Firmino secured all three points for Liverpool FC. The Reds ran out 2-0 winner against Watford in their penultimate fixture at Anfield.
Christian Benteke assisted in the first goal with a knock down in the path of Joe Allen, who scored brilliantly by sliding the the ball past Heurelho Gomes in the Watford goal to make it one nil to the Reds.
Benteke looked sharp and has definitely improved his work rate dramatically, had a good game and linked play well, he also came close to scoring after the break.
Firmino scored in the 76th minute with a good move, to make it two to Liverpool after coming off the bench. Liverpool over all were worthy winner in a game which they controlled.
Jurgen Klopp made as many as eight changes to the team that played in the Europa league semi-final against Villarreal.
The Reds play again on Wednesday 11 May, with that in mind Klopp rested key players for the final home game of the season against Chelsea at Anfield.
