Benteke has recovered from a knee injury he picked up while on duty with the Belgium national team and is part of a 20 man squad that travelled so Spain for the semi-final first Leg at the Estadio El Madrigal.
The Reds number 9 who has struggled in his first season on merseyside but has still manage to contribute with 7 Premier league goals and 1 in the Europa League, will be hoping to play a part. However Benteke has not played for Liverpool since the defeat at Southampton on March 20th where the Reds lost 3-2.
The big Belgian’s return from injury will be a big boost for manager Jurgen Klopp who’s without midfield duo club captain Jordan Henderson and Emre Can, and also striker Divock Origi due to an ankle injury he sustained in the Merseyside derby against Everton.
With the return to form of Daniel Sturridge and Firmino, it is most likely Benteke will be used as a substitute if needed.
